“Knife Skills 101” Cooking Class

September 5 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join the fun on Thursday, September 5th, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM for a cooking class with Chef Chris! Register here.

The Class Format Includes:

Demonstrations: Chef Chris will demonstrate each basic cutting technique, chopping, dicing, julienning, mincing and knife safety and maintenance.

Hands-On Practice: You will practice cutting techniques with types of knives and their uses and take home your freshly chopped ingredients, perfect for whipping up a delicious soup or a delightful stir-fry!

During the class, you will experience the quality of a Messermeister chef knife. You will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one!

With over 35 years of dedicated experience in the culinary arts and food service industry, Chef Christopher H Plemmons, a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and esteemed member of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC) brings a wealth of expertise, passion, and leadership to the table. Committed to staying at the forefront of culinary innovation, Chef Plemmons actively engages in ongoing education programs provided by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) while tirelessly contributing to various community food events and initiatives.

Chef Chris works with the Roslyn Downtown Association, is passionate about education, and is committed to culinary excellence. Chef Plemmons looks forward to continuing his legacy of inspiring and empowering future generations of chefs.
