Roslyn Downtown Association presents: The Dueling Pianos — Thursday, July 2 Independence Day Kickoff Celebration 6:00–8:30 PM at the Roslyn Yard.

High-energy music, a touch of comedy, crowd-pleasing favorites, and a whole lot of fun. Family-friendly, free event.

Dueling Pianos is a captivating and interactive musical entertainment concept. It involves two talented pianists or keyboardists who go head-to-head in a friendly competition, delivering an unforgettable live music experience.

How Dueling Pianos Work

Dueling pianos offer a unique and interactive entertainment experience that combines music, comedy, and audience participation. As the performers play your favorite hits, they infuse the performance with lively banter and a competitive spirit, often leading to humorous improvisations and sing-alongs. This high-energy show thrives on the dynamic interaction between the musicians and the audience, ensuring each event is one-of-a-kind and memorable.

Requesting Songs

At the heart of every dueling piano performance is the song request. You, the audience, have the power to shape the show by submitting your favorite tunes. Whether it’s a classic hit or a contemporary chart-topper, our pianists are ready to bring your selection to life with energy and flair. To request a song, simply write it down on the provided slips and place them on the pianos. Then, sit back as our performers weave your requests into a night of rollicking music and dueling entertainment.
