Kids’ Cooking Class

CALLING ALL INSPIRING YOUNG CHEFS! SUMMER COOKING FUN!
Join members of the Blue Ribbon Cooking culinary team for 90min of summer fun in the kitchen at the Rosyln Creative Center. Participants will learn four different summer recipes which each offer the opportunity to get creative in the kitchen, all while learning kitchen terminology, safety and technique.

Modifications can be made for most dietary restrictions.  Please make sure to include this information in your registration. Students will enjoy lunch in class, and also bring home a few samples of their cooking to share. No kitchen experience necessary; all levels welcome!

Available Classes:

• 10:00am – 11:30am
• 12:30pm – 2:00pm
• 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Vanessa was raised in Blue Ribbon’s kitchen and quickly realized she shared her mother’s passion for culinary-focused events. In 2008 Vanessa took over management of the cooking school from her family (Virginia & Mike Duppenthaler) and built out the full-service catering and event-design side of the company. Vanessa has been recognized for her savvy business skills, dedication to community involvement, and the success of her business by winning the Nellie Cashman Women Owned Business of the Year Award and being named on PSBJ’s 40 under 40 list.
